On September 1st, 2012 Department of International Law of the Law Faculty of PFUR launched Master’s Programme “International Protection of Human Rights” in English. This Master’s Programme is practice oriented, its aim is to let the graduates apply efficiently the knowledge they get during the programme in the human rights protection activities.
The unique character of this Programme consists of it being the only master’s programme in English on the territory of Russian Federation. What is more the students have a unique opportunity to listen to the lectures of foreign professors that come to Russia invited by the Law Faculty of PFUR. The students also take part in the annual summer school organized by foreign partner-universities of the Law Faculty of PFUR. Moreover the students of the Programme have access to various libraries including audio-visual international law library of the UN.
This year students from Georgia, Iraq, Columbia, Nigeria and Russia won admission to the Programme.
