Dr. Pietro Sullo, European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA) Programme Director will provide a series of lectures on the topic “Transitional justice". The lectures will take place at the Inter-University human rights resource centre, Law Faculty, PFUR (room 354), April 7-8, 2014, from 11.00 to 14.00.
Dr. Sullo holds a Ph.D. from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy, where he has defended a thesis entitled Genocide and Transitional Justice in Rwanda: Gacaca Courts and the Search for Truth, Justice and Reconciliation (currently in the pipeline for publication, Intersentia Publishers). His research areas include international law, international human rights law, international criminal law (with a particular emphasis on genocide) and transitional justice. More information…
Dr. Sullo’s lectures are organized within the framework of academic mobility development program for 2013-2014 within the master’s programme “International Protection of Human Rights” which is being organized by the Consortium of Universities (PFUR, MGIMO, RGGU, KPFU, PSU).
